ﺣَﺪَّﺛَﻨَﺎ ﻣُﺤَﻤَّﺪُ ﺑْﻦُ ﻣُﻘَﺎﺗِﻞٍ، ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺃَﺧْﺒَﺮَﻧَﺎ ﻋَﺒْﺪُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ، ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺃَﺧْﺒَﺮَﻧَﺎ ﻳُﻮﻧُﺲُ، ﻋَﻦِ ﺍﻟﺰُّﻫْﺮِﻱِّ، ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺳَﻤِﻌْﺖُ ﺍﻟﺴَّﺎﺋِﺐَ ﺑْﻦَ ﻳَﺰِﻳﺪَ، ﻳَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻷَﺫَﺍﻥَ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﺠُﻤُﻌَﺔِ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﺃَﻭَّﻟُﻪُ ﺣِﻴﻦَ ﻳَﺠْﻠِﺲُ ﺍﻹِﻣَﺎﻡُ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﺠُﻤُﻌَﺔِ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻤِﻨْﺒَﺮِ ﻓِﻲ ﻋَﻬْﺪِ ﺭَﺳُﻮﻝِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻭَﺃَﺑِﻲ ﺑَﻜْﺮٍ ﻭَﻋُﻤَﺮَ ـ ﺭﺿﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻤﺎ ـ ﻓَﻠَﻤَّﺎ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻓِﻲ ﺧِﻼَﻓَﺔِ ﻋُﺜْﻤَﺎﻥَ ـ ﺭﺿﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ ـ ﻭَﻛَﺜُﺮُﻭﺍ،ﺃَﻣَﺮَ ﻋُﺜْﻤَﺎﻥُ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﺠُﻤُﻌَﺔِ ﺑِﺎﻷَﺫَﺍﻥِ ﺍﻟﺜَّﺎﻟِﺚِ، ﻓَﺄُﺫِّﻥَ ﺑِﻪِ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟﺰَّﻭْﺭَﺍﺀِ، ﻓَﺜَﺒَﺖَ ﺍﻷَﻣْﺮُ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺫَﻟِﻚَ.

TARJUMA: Hazrat Saa’ib Bin Yazeed (Rdh.) Farmate Hain Ke Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam) Aur Hazrat Abu Bakar Wa Umar (Rdh.) Ke Zamane Me Jumma Ki Azaan Us Waqt Hoti Thi Jab Imaam Mimbar Par Baith Jata Tha Phir Jab Hazrat Usman (Rdh.) Ka Daur-e-Khilafat Aaya Aur Log Zyada Ho Gaye Toh Hazrat Usman (Rdh.) Ne Teesri AZAAN (Yaani Jumma Ki Pehli Azaan) Ka Huqm Diya Chunanche Zoraa Par Woh Azaan Kahi Gayi Aur Yeh Tareeqah QAAYEM Ho Gaya.

1. Jummah preparations should begin on Thursday such as clipping the nails, removing of the hair etc

2. To have a bath

3. To use Miswaak

4. To use Attar (Perfume)

5. To wear nice clothes

6. To proceed early as possible to the Masjid for Jumuah

7. To walk to the Masjid if possible for every step is a reward of a years Nafl Fast and a year of tahajjud.

8, When arriving at masjid, if there is time for salatudh-dhuha (chasht 8 rakats) one should pray them.
